Shalini graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors of Communications (Hons.) Degree majoring in Public Relations from Help University College, Malaysia. She began her career in advertising by joining Leo Burnett Malaysia in late 2009. During her tenure with them, she was in the account servicing department and her main client was Proton, Malaysia. On the side, she also took care of other accounts including Sime Darby Foods and Petronas Malaysia. Her 3 years in this department provided her with some exposure to many service industries. She gained experience in providing excellent service to her clients as well as making sure that all media deliverables were met on time.
She is a strong believer in always keeping the clients happy and good service throughout will go a long way. After 3 years of being in the advertising industry, she decided to move on to the banking industry. She then joined HSBC Bank as a Client Service Manager in 2012. Here, she dealt with the day to day walk-in and existing customers while cross-selling to them the bank’s products and services.
As executive assistant, Shalini provides operational support for our training companies in Malaysia and other SEA markets. She coordinates training scheduling, event preparations, business development, and client care for the region. Shalini and her husband, Arjun reside in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia along with their toddler son. Together, they enjoy travelling the world and experiencing different cultures.
